Most common issue, and solutions:
Problem: Pump does not start
Cause: No mains supply
Remedy: Check mains supply
Cause: Pump not switched on
Remedy: Switch on pump
Cause: Not enough pump pressure
Remedy: Not enough pump pressure
Cause: The switch-on pressure is set too low
Remedy: By turning the pressure setting screw clockwise, the switch-on pressure will be increased.
Cause: The dry-run safety is activated, because the the switch-on pressure is set too high
Remedy: By turning the pressure setting screw anti-clockwise, the switch-on pressure will be reduced.
Problem: Pump is active but no water is being delivered (after being started for more than 5 minutes)
Cause: The pump is not fully filled with water
Remedy: Re-fill the pump with water and check the suction hose foot valve
Cause: Air in the suction hose
Remedy: Check sealing of various joints of the suction hose
Cause: Water level is too low
Remedy: Adjust installation height of the pump (< 8 m)
Cause: Suction hose, foot valve, pre-filter or pump is blocked
Remedy: Clean suction hose, foot valve, pre-filter or pump
Problem: Pump does not stop or start and stop constantly
Cause: The switch-on pressure is set too high
Remedy: By turning the pressure setting screw anti-clockwise, the switch-on pressure will be reduced
Problem: Insufficient pressure
Cause: Incorrect pump type
Remedy: Select suitable pump
Cause: The suction hose is too long or with too many bends, suction hose diameter is not selected as required
Remedy: 25mm, 32mm or 38mm (inner diameter) suction hose must be used to achieve maximum flow rate. Make the suction hose shorter
Cause: Suction hose, foot valve, pre-filter or pump is blocked
Remedy: Clean suction hose, foot valve, pre-filter or pump
Cause: The outlet hose is incorrectly or incorrectly installed
Remedy: Check the outlet hose and connections. The larger the diameter of the hose and the hose connection, the greater the flow. The lower the delivery height, the greater the flow
Problem: Pump will not start or stops during use
Cause: Thermal overload safety switch has activated
Remedy: Disconnect from the power supply, leave for 5 minutes and clean suction hose, foot valve, pre-filter or pump
Problem: Pump switched off after short operating periods
Cause: Power has tripped
Remedy: Check fuses and electrical connections
Cause: Water too hot
Remedy: sure that the water temperature has not exceeded the maximum of 35°C
