Most common issue, and solutions:
- Hose connector arrives broken. Spare part request.
- Problem: Pump does not start
Cause: No mains supply Floater restricted
Remedy: Check mains supply Bring floater to higher position
- Problem: Pump is active but no water is being delivered.
Cause: Turbine clogged
Remedy: Disconnect pump from the power supply and clean or unblock the turbine (see 'BLOCKAGES')
- Problem: Pump will not switch off.
Cause: Floater restricted
Remedy: Bring floater to a lower position
- Problem: Pump will not start or stops during use. Pump switched off after short operating periods
Cause: Thermal overload safety switch has activated
Remedy: Disconnect from the power supply, leave for 2 minutes and clear the turbine (if required - see 'Blockages')
Cause: Power has tripped
Remedy: Check fuses and electrical connections
Cause: Turbine clogged
Remedy: Disconnect pump from the power supply and clean or unblock the turbine (see 'BLOCKAGES')
Cause: Water too hot
Remedy: Ensure that the water temperature has not exceeded the maximum of 35 C
